Slaughter cows sold $4.00 lower and bulls sold $3.00 lower; Demand uneven and supply heavy. Supply included: 82% Feeder Cattle (49% Steers, 33% Heifers, 18% Bulls); 17% Slaughter Cattle (90% Cows, 10% Bulls); 1% Replacement Cattle (100% Bred Cows). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 38%.

Compared to last week, a lighter offering this week with 500-600 lb steers selling fully steady to firm, 600-800 lb steers sold mostly steady with spots $5.00 lower on the 600-650 lb steers. Feeder heifers on a light test sold mostly steady. Slaughter cows traded $2.00-4.00 lower. Demand was moderate to good on a light to moderate offering, best on 500-600 lb steers. Supply included: 74% Feeder Cattle (65% Steers, 34% Heifers, 1% Bulls); 26% Slaughter Cattle (20% Steers, 10% Heifers, 58% Cows, 11% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 52%.
