Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold 4.00-13.00 higher with good quality in the offering. Slaughter cows sold steady and bulls sold 2.00 higher; Demand good and supply moderate to heavy. Supply included: 87% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 46% Heifers, 6% Bulls); 11% Slaughter Cattle (88% Cows, 13% Bulls); 2% Replacement Cattle (76% Bred Cows, 9% Bred Heifers, 15% Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 36%.

Holstein steers traded steady on high choice and 2.00 lower on low choice and selects.  Feeder steers & heifers traded steady market on medium-large 1-2 (Market quotes are on mostly unvaccinated cattle) and unweaned 5.00 lower on medium-short 2-3. Slaughter cows traded steady to 1.00 lower on better cows and 2.00 lower on slower cows. Slaughter bulls traded unevenly steady.
