Compared to last week, a very light offering of feeders selling mostly in small packages and singles but for the most part all sold right in line with last weeks price ranges on comparable weights and quality. Slaughter steers and heifers sold steady to 2.00 higher with slaughter cows trading mostly steady to 3.00 lower. Supply included: 67% Feeder Cattle (31% Steers, 43% Heifers, 25% Bulls); 33% Slaughter Cattle (9% Steers, 14% Heifers, 61% Cows, 16% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 26%.

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to mostly 4.00 lower. Stocker steers and steer calves 8.00-12.00 higher. Stocker heifers and heifer calves mostly steady. Demand moderate to good for feeders as cattle futures traded in the red on Monday. Buyers more finicky for kind and condition. Demand still very good for stockers and calves, especially steers. Rain moved across the state Monday night brining nice rains to many but also wind and hail damage to others. Western Oklahoma also saw some much needed rain on Sunday evening. Quality mostly average end attractive. Flesh conditions not as attractive as last week with cattle coming off wheat in average to fleshy conditions. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (53% Steers, 46% Heifers, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 73%.
