Compared to last week, a very light offering of feeders sold mostly in small packages and singles were not well tested with similar average quality and weights trading within last week's price ranges. A nice offering of near 100 head of slaughter steers and heifers sold firm to 5.00 higher with slaughter cows selling fully steady to firm. Supply included: 50% Feeder Cattle (37% Steers, 53% Heifers, 10% Bulls); 50% Slaughter Cattle (15% Steers, 21% Heifers, 45% Cows, 19% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 35%.

Weigh ups were in the buyers favor. Cattle futures are trading in the green once again today. Rain continued to fall last weekend and is forecast for tonight through Wednesday night.
