Friday's auction had a light offering of feeder cattle selling in small groups and singles and traded with a fully steady to firm undertone on quality, kind and weights and sold with good demand. Slaughter steers and heifers sold steady to 3.00 higher with slaughter cows trading firm to 3.00 higher. Supply included: 61% Feeder Cattle (37% Steers, 44% Heifers, 19% Bulls); 39% Slaughter Cattle (25% Steers, 4% Heifers, 59% Cows, 11% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 50%.

Holstein steers traded unevenly to 2.00 higher on high choice and 5.00 higher on low choice and selects. Feeder steers & heifers were unevenly steady on the better quality on medium-large 1-2 (Market quotes are on mostly unvaccinated cattle)and lower on lower quality offering medium-short 2-3. Slaughter cows traded unevenly steady on better overnight cows & good lean cows. Day cows traded steady & steady on slower cows. Slaughter bulls traded 10.00-15.00 higher.
