The US Rice Producers Association (USRPA) participated in the Chefs Talk Show at the 30th edition of Festival Gourmet International 2025 that took place at Universidad Tecnológica de Bahía de Banderas in Puerto Vallarta, reinforcing its commitment to Mexico’s culinary sector. This visit supported the university’s educational efforts while positioning U.S. rice at the center of conversations with future chefs and foodservice leaders.
USRPA sponsored and took part in the special Chefs Talk Show event for culinary students, providing valuable visibility and direct engagement with emerging talent. Students, instructors, and Michelin-star chefs explored the versatility and quality of U.S. rice through demonstrations and open dialogue, highlighting its adaptability and relevance in modern gastronomy.
By connecting early with culinary students, the next generation of chefs, influencers, and menu creators, USRPA strengthens long-term market development and builds lasting preference for U.S. rice. Continued collaboration with universities, along with follow-up activities such as workshops or recipe challenges, will help reinforce this momentum and ensure U.S. rice remains a trusted ingredient in professional kitchens. ∆
