   Due to a major winter snow storm hitting the area mid-week along with sub-zero temperatures and slick roads greatly curbed receipts this week with only a few groups of feeders on offer. Slaughter cows accounted for 55 percent of the receipts with 45 percent feeders. Slaughter cows traded firm to $2 higher.

   Due to weather conditions there was too light of a run for a trend comparison, however there was lower undertones with lower than average quality in the offering. Slaughter cows sold steady and bulls not well tested. Demand and supply light. Cows made up approximately 9 percent of the run, 91 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 37 percent of the offering, 42 percent heifers with 20 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 30 percent.
