   There was no sale last week due to weather, however compared to two weeks ago steers and heifers sold steady to $5 higher with good quality and conditioning in the offering. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to $2 higher. Demand and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 10 percent of the run, 90 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 53 percent of the offering, 42 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 35 percent.

   As we all know this has been a very long, cold winter. Due to adverse weather there was no sale last Tuesday, as was the case in many salebarns. This makes it again very difficult to do a good test of prices. Market for good quality, healthy feeders appears very good. Slaughter bulls and cows sold higher.
   FEEDER STEERS: 200-299 lbs $196-224; 300-399 lbs $198-214.50; 400-499 lbs $185-204; 500-599 lbs $175-188; 600-699 lbs $155-158.

   No trend comparison due to bad weather again this week. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $3 higher. Demand and supply light. Cows made up approximately 17 percent of the run, 83 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 64 percent of the offering, 24 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 24 percent.
