HOLT AgriBusiness Continues Helping American Farmers

Grow With More Than 100 Years Of Innovation In Agriculture

SIKESTON, MO.
HOLT AgriBusiness®, recently named a Top 10 AGCO dealer in North America, has been serving and innovating in the American agricultural industry for more than 100 years. Family-owned and operated by fifth generation family members, HOLT AgriBusiness is a proud supporter of our Missourian communities and we are driven to keep farmers growing so that no sunny day is wasted and no harvest delayed. By working together, we want to ensure that our customers keep thriving and growing.
Our history dates back to the early 1880’s, when Benjamin L. Holt, first invented the link-belt combined harvester, and then went on to develop the first practical track-type steam engine in 1904, which he called the Caterpillar. That tractor allowed farmers to more easily handle the soft soil in the San Joaquin Valley in California. Since that time, the Holt family has been committed to innovation in farming and finding ways to  reduce costs and help farmers get more done. While heavy equipment today looks a lot different than it did at the turn of the century with that first “Caterpillar” tractor, HOLT AgriBusiness’ commitment to innovation and one-on-one, personal delivery of service is unwavering. This is what differentiates HOLT AgriBusiness in Missouri where they grow crops such as horse radish, potatoes, rice and corn to wheat and cotton.

Because of this rich history in agriculture and farming, HOLT AgriBusiness knows the importance of having strong relationships in the community, being on a first-name basis with our customers, understanding the individual needs of every farmer – small-scale or large-scale – and working with each person to deliver best-in-class customer care and service, from parts replacement to in-field delivery. Larry Williams, HOLT AgriBusiness Sales Representative, says, “I personally have always enjoyed working with farmers in the Missouri Bootheel. They are great people who work hard, produce a good product and have made the Delta the bread basket of the MidWest.” HOLT AgriBusiness also carries a versatile and unique product line unmatched in Missouri because of our rich history and strong partnership with CLAAS and AGCO. This partnership with the two most powerful manufacturers in the nation allows us to carry diversified product lines that other dealers in the region may not have access too, such as the Challenger tractors and Lexion combines.
Our parts and service support is also unparalleled. HOLT AgriBusiness offers the very best dealer support in the country that our customers rely upon to get their jobs done. HOLT AgriBusiness General Manager Paul Westbrook, believes that what sets his equipment dealership apart is the people. He said, “We hire locally, the people in our stores are your friends and neighbors. Our employees know agriculture, know our community, and we are wholly committed to personal, quality customer service that builds long-lasting mutually beneficial relationships.”
