Tempest™ Dual-Action Insecticide Knocks Insects Down And Keeps Them Down

MEMPHIS, TENN.
A new pest management tool that combines two highly effective insecticides with advanced adjuvant technology has been introduced by Helena Chemical Company. Tempest Dual-Action Insecticide features quick knockdown and long residual control of sucking and chewing insects on a variety of crops, including potatoes, soybeans, cotton, tree nuts and vegetables.
Tempest is a 1:1 ratio of bifenthrin and imidacloprid co-formulated with an “in-can” adjuvant system. These two proven actives equip Tempest with the ability to control pests by contact or ingestion, while translocating rapidly through plant tissue for long-term protection from aphids and other sucking and chewing insects.
The built-in adjuvant system enhances the application through improved coverage, deposition and retention. It also improves compatibility with other tank-mix partners and improves performance of low volume spray applications, resulting in improved penetration into the crop canopy. Tempest is compatible with foliar-applied nutritionals and a wide range of other agrichemicals.
Tempest has EPA approval for aerial and ground applications and chemigation on over 50 crops and more than 100 insects across the country. For availability by state, contact your local Helena representative. ∆
