   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold uneven, from $7 higher to $6 lower with lower quality and more fill than last week’s offering. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $2 lower. Demand uneven and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 16 percent of the run, 84 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 44 percent of the offering, 38 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 17 percent.

   Last week rain, this week pretty – farmers busy made for light run of cattle. Some preconditioned feeders made the market higher in those weights. Rest of the offering was too light to do a test. Slaughter bulls and cows sold steady.
