   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold $4-16 higher with good quality in the offering. Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady. Demand good and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 8 percent of the run, 92 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 46 percent of the offering, 43 percent heifers. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 28 percent.

   This was a rainy sale morning with reports of 4-5 inches locally. This was evidenced by a lot of spectators but very light run of cattle. It appears market was still very strong. NO SALE next week for respect of the July 4th Holiday. Slaughter bulls and cows sold steady.

   Compared to last week, 300-400 lbs steers sold $7 lower, the rest of the offering sold $2-10 higher on a light test. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $2 higher. Demand uneven and supply light. Cows made up approximately 9 percent of the run, 91 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 38 percent of the offering, 44 percent heifers with 18 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 33 percent. Note: No sale June 30th in observance of Independence Day.
