Supply light on a cow special, mostly small packages of feeders, near 40 percent cows, 40 percent heifers, 20 percent steers to mostly bulls and 18 percent mostly heifers over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows weak to $1 lower.

   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $10 higher with very good quality in the offering. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $2 lower. Demand good and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 20 percent of the run, 80 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 53 percent of the offering, 36 percent heifers with 11 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 11 percent.

Steers made up approximately 10 percent of the run, 90 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 33 percent of the offering, 37 percent heifers with 30 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 24 percent.
