Demand good and supply light, mostly 400-700 lbs calves, near 36 percent steers and bulls, 45 percent heifers, 16 percent cows, 3 percent slaughter steers and heifers and 29 percent mostly heifers over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows weak to $2 lower.

   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold uneven, from $7 higher to $8 lower. Slaughter cows sold $2 lower, bulls sold $2 higher. Demand uneven and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 11 percent of the run, 89 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 44 percent of the offering, 44 percent heifers with 12 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 30 percent.
