   Compared to last week, feeder steers and heifers were weak to steady. Slaughter cows were fully steady. Supply was moderate. Demand was light to moderate. Of the feeder offering 56 percent were steers and 44 percent heifers, with 44 percent of all feeders over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls made up 15 percent of total receipts.
   SCHEDULING NOTE: Farmington Livestock will hold a Special Cow Sale on Saturday, December 7. Several reputation consignments will be on hand.
   FEEDER STEERS:
Medium and Large 1: 400-500 lbs $187-215; 500-600 lbs $170-184; 600-700 lbs $165-167.50; 700-800 lbs $150-158; 800-900 lbs $145-146. Medium and Large 1-2: 500-550 lbs $165-166; 650-700 lbs $135.
   FEEDER HEIFERS: Medium and Large 1: 450-500 lbs $160-173; 500-600 lbs $150-165; 700-800 lbs $142-151. Medium and Large 1-2: 400-500 lbs $150-165; 600-700 lbs $135-152; 700-750 lbs $144.
   SLAUGHTER COWS: Breaking 75-80 Percent Lean, $75-84; Low Dressing Ind. $73; Boning 80-85 Percent Lean, $74.50-80; Lean 85-90 Percent Lean, $63-69, High Dressing $73.50, Low Dressing Ind. $60.

   REPLACEMENT COWS: Medium and Large 1-2: 1 1/2 - 5 yrs 945-1545 lbs 2nd-3rd stage $1125-1560. Medium 1-2: 3 yrs to short and solid 675-915 lbs 2nd-3rd stage $900-990 per head.
   COW-CALF PAIRS: Medium and Large 1-2: Few 5 yrs 1250-1265 lbs with baby to 250 lbs calves $1075-1400 per pair.∆

   Again varied quantities and qualities made for uneven market results. Very few light weight heifers trended the report lower rest were higher. Light weight males were $10-15 higher with the rest steady to $5 higher. Slaughter bulls and cows sold steady.
