   Due to Holiday no sale last week. Market was very strong today. Overall $5-20 higher where there was a good test some were more than $20 higher.

   Due to the Holidays there was no sale last week, however compared to two weeks ago, 600 lbs steers and 300-400 lbs heifers sold $10-18 higher, the rest of the offering sold steady to $8 higher. Slaughter cows sold $4 higher and bulls sold $9 higher; Demand good and supply light. Cows made up approximately 27 percent of the run, 73 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 39 percent of the offering, 39 percent heifers with 22 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 30 percent.

   Compared to last week, 400 lbs steers sold $5 higher, the rest of the offering sold $1-9 lower, the condition of the feeders less attractive than last week. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $1 higher; Demand uneven and supply light. Cows made up approximately 17 percent of the run, 83 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 59 percent of the offering, 35 percent heifers with 4 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 21 percent.

   Compared to last week, undertone mostly steady on a light supply of feeders. Demand moderate to good. Supply light, mostly small packages of calves, near 51 percent steers and bulls, 19 percent heifers, 27 percent cows, 3 percent slaughter steers and heifers and 12 percent feeders over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows steady to $2 lower.
