   Compared to last week, steers and heifers under 600 lbs sold uneven from $3 higher to $2 lower, the offering over 600 lbs not well tested. Slaughter cows sold $1 higher, bulls not well tested; Demand uneven and supply light. Cows made up approximately 14 percent of the run, 86 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 30 percent of the offering, 38 percent heifers with 31 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 24 percent.

   No change in the reporting numbers too light of a run to do a test. Hopefully in two weeks the farmers will be more caught up and we will have more numbers. Overall the buyers were active and market seemed strong.

   Compared to last week, 500 lbs heifers and a few pot loads of 600-700 lbs steers sold $6 higher, the rest of the offering sold $3-9 lower. Slaughter cows sold $2 higher and bulls sold $3 higher; Demand uneven and supply light. Cows made up approximately 15 percent of the run, 85 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 50 percent of the offering, 40 percent heifers with 9 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 32 percent.
