Mid-South Ag Finance Conference August 5

   Producers in Tennessee and surrounding states will want to mark their calendar for Wednesday, August 5, 2015 for the Mid-South Agricultural Finance Conference. This annual conference will once again be held in the Boling University Center on the campus of the University of Tennessee at Martin in Martin, Tennessee. Speakers for this conference include Dr. David Kohl, Professor Emeritus, Virginia Tech University discussing Agriculture in a Changing Environment; Dr. Steve Isaacs, University of Kentucky on Traits of Top Managers; Mike Mock of The Andersons discussing Using Marketing Risk Management Tools in Down Times; and Richard Brock of Brock Associates finishing up with Commodity Prices and Marketing Outlook:Major Trends Affecting Your Bottom Line. This all-star lineup will start at 8 a.m. and will conclude with a question & answer panel discussion at 3:15 p.m. Registration for producers to attend is $75 and includes continental breakfast, refreshments, lunch, and handout materials.
