   Due to the hot weather the offering was too small for a trend comparison, however there were lower undertones. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $2 lower; Demand and supply very light. Cows made up approximately 18 percent of the run, 82 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 32 percent of the offering, 41 percent heifers with 24 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 23 percent.

   Compared to last week, no good recent price comparison on steers and heifers, undertone weak to lower. Demand moderate to good. Supply light to moderate on a feeder special, mostly 550-950 lbs offerings, near 33 percent steers and bulls, 60 percent heifers, 7 percent cows and 64 percent mostly heifers over 600 lbs. Slaughter cows weak to $2 lower.

Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 17 percent.
