   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold $2-12 higher. Slaughter cows sold $2 lower, bulls sold $1 higher; Demand good and supply light. Slaughter cows made up approximately 17 percent of the run, 83 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 31 percent of the offering, 41 percent heifers with 28 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 28 percent.

   Several nice size bunches of preconditioned feeders and a rainy day made for a stronger than anticipated market today. Market was uneven where there were larger groups $9-22 higher.

   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $8 lower with lower than average quality. Slaughter cows sold $2 lower and bulls sold $4 lower; Demand and supply light. Cows made up approximately 20 percent of the run, 80 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 48 percent of the offering, 45 percent heifers with 7 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 30 percent.
