   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $8 higher, except 300 lbs steers, they sold $15 lower. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $1 higher. Demand uneven and supply light. Cows made up approximately 13 percent of the run, 87 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 27 percent of the offering, 50 percent heifers with 23 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 22 percent.

   Compared to last week, a very light run of feeder cattle were not well tested in any weight range with overall quality not very attractive on light receipts. Markets this week have seen futures turn mostly positive but buyers remain very cautious as previous losses have many remaining skeptical. A nice offering of slaughter cows sold firm to $3 higher. Slaughter cows accounted for 45 percent of the total receipts. In the feeder supply steers and bulls accounted for 53 percent, heifers 47 percent and 23 percent weighed over 600 lbs.

   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold uneven, from $8 lower to $6 higher. Slaughter cows sold steady and bulls sold $3 lower. Demand uneven and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 17 percent of the run, 83 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 49 percent of the offering, 40 percent heifers with 11 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 14 percent.
