   Compared to last week, 500-600 lbs steers sold steady to $1 higher, the rest of the offering sold $3-12 lower. Slaughter cows sold and bulls sold $5 lower; Demand uneven and supply light. Cows made up approximately 8 percent of the run, 92 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 37 percent of the offering, 39 percent heifers with 24 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 22 percent.

   Friday’s sale was a Special Bred Cow Sale with a light supply of feeder cattle selling steady with comparable sales from last week. Demand was moderate on feeders as most were unweaned calves coming right off the cows. Demand was moderate to good on the bred cows and pairs. Slaughter cows sold steady to $2 lower. Supply was near 48 percent cows and the feeder supply consisted of 67 percent steers and bulls, 33 percent heifers and 23 percent weighing over 600 lbs.

   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold steady to $8 higher. Slaughter cows and bulls sold $3 lower; Demand steady to good and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 10 percent of the run, 90 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 48 percent of the offering, 38 percent heifers with 14 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 34 percent.
