   Compared to last week, steers sold $2-5 higher and heifers sold $1-8 higher with a lot of the 600-700 lbs selling for replacements. Slaughter cows sold steady and bulls not tested. Demand good and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 7 percent of the run, 93 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 60 percent of the offering, 33 percent heifers with 7 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 41 percent.

   Compared to last week, feeder steers steady to $5 lower, feeder heifers under 500 lbs $1 to $5 lower. Over 500 lbs steady to $3 lower. Demand moderate. Supply moderate to heavy, of the feeder offering consisted of 52 percent steers and bulls, 2 percent Holsteins, 37 percent heifers and 37 percent of the feeders were over 600 lbs. Cows and bulls consisted of 9 percent of the total offering. Slaughter cows $3 to $4 higher.
