   Compared to last week, steers and heifers sold $2.00-12.00 lower. Slaughter cows $1.00 higher and bulls sold steady; Demand lower and supply moderate. Cows made up approximately 9 percent of the run, 98 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 39 percent of the offering, 49 percent heifers with 12 percent feeder bulls.  Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 31 percent.

Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 28 percent.

   A very light offering of feeder cattle this week compared to last week's heavy offering, with a very light test of steer calves under 550 lbs and 4 weight heifers selling with a steady to firm undertone with all other weights not tested. Slaughter cows sold fully steady to firm. Offerings were mostly small packages and singles selling with moderate demand. Slaughter cows accounted for near 22 percent of the total receipts. Feeder supply consisted of 47 percent steers and bulls, 53 percent heifers and near 35 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
