    Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves traded $2-5 higher with yearling steers and heifers steady to $2 higher. Slaughter cows traded $2-3 higher with slaughter bulls $4-6 higher. Demand was good on a moderate supply of feeders and a light supply of replacement animals.  Cows and slaughter animals made up approximately 12 percent of the offering, with feeders making up the balance at 88 percent. The feeder offering consisted of 53 percent steers, 9 percent bulls and 38 percent heifers. Approximately 37 percent of the offering weighed over 600 lbs.

Cows made up approximately 11 percent of the run, 89 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 40 percent of the offering, 43 percent heifers with 17 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 21 percent.
