Cotton Field Day Date Set
SOMERVILLE, TENN.
September 22, 2017: The Fayette County Extension Office will be hosting a Cotton Field Day. This meeting will be held at the Moore Farm – headed north on Hwy 222 where Somerville changes to Mason-first field road on the right starting at 8:00 a.m.
At this meeting, Dr. Tyson Raper, UT Cotton Specialist will cover varieties in the 2017 Replicated Cotton Standardized Test along with some defoliation information. Dr. Heather Kelly, UT Plant Pathologist will cover Cotton Leaf Spots and Dr. Scott Stewart, UT Entomologist will cover the bollworm problem we faced.
