Tennessee Meeting Dates Set

SOMERVILLE, TENN.
   February 6, 2018: The Fayette County Extension Office will be hosting an Irrigation Meeting. This meeting will be held at Rube Rhea’s farm shop-15480 Hwy 64 S. Somerville, Tenn. 38068 starting at 5:00 p.m. Tennessee Tractor will discuss pivot maintenance and other information of interest after a meal.    February 15, 16, and 17, 2018: The Fayette and Tipton County Extension Offices will be hosting a Master Horse Program. This meeting will be held at The University of Memphis; Millington Campus, 6500 Navy Road, Millington, Tenn. starting at 3:00 p.m. on February 15, 2018. The following agents and specialists will be speaking at this meeting: Dr. Gary Bates on pasture management; Dr. Lew Strickland on Equine Health;    Becky Muller on Responsible Horse Ownership; Dr. Forbes Walker on Waste Management; Dr. Jennie Ivey on Equine Nutrition; Danny Morris on Equine Economics; and conclude with a panel discussion  on Hot Topics.
