LSU AgCenter Food Incubator Selling Holiday Gift Boxes



















BATON ROUGE, LA.
   Shoppers looking for the perfect present for foodies can turn to the LSU AgCenter Food Incubator this holiday season.
   The incubator is selling gift boxes containing a range of items made by local food entrepreneurs.
   “The unique and delicious products in these gift boxes are handcrafted at the LSU AgCenter Food Incubator by both up-and-coming and established food businesses,” said incubator director Gaye Sandoz. “Sales will support these local companies as well as programs at the incubator.”
   Orders must be placed online at store.lsuagcenter.com by Dec. 3. Boxes will be shipped beginning Nov.12. Or they can be picked up on the    LSU campus between Dec. 10 and 14.
   A small box costs $35 and includes:
   — Four bags of Popology flavored popcorn.
   — Two bags of Truly Southern Pretzel Crunch.
   — One box of Cane Land Distilling Company spiced rum pecans.
   — One Southern Gourmet Cookie Company cookie.
   A large box costs $80 and includes:
   — Five bags of Popology flavored popcorn.
   — Three bags of Truly Southern Pretzel Crunch.
   — Two Southern Gourmet Cookie Company cookies.
   — One Cane Land Distilling Company praline rum cake.
   — One box of Cane Land Distilling Company spiced rum pecans.
   — One bag of D’Agostino Pasta Company fleur de lis-shaped pasta.
   — One box of Mama Roos chocolate and pecan bark.
