N-P-K Seminar

MOUNT VERNON, ILL.
   Being a successful farmer is not easy. The Jefferson County Soil and Water Conservation District wants to help you succeed by giving you the tools that you need for success. They are very excited about the group of presenters that will be sharing their expertise this year. All the speakers are well known in Southern Illinois for their knowledge. They even have Jim Rasor on the agenda to talk about the weather trends. John Pike will discuss the economics of cover crops, Terry Wysickalla will explain how to know if your soil is healthy, Randy McElroy (Bayer) will discuss using complementing no-till with cover crops, and Sean Nettleton (Becks Hybrids) will cover applications of micronutrients.
   This will be the third year that the District has held a seminar about Nutrients, conservation Practices, and general ag Knowledge and this will be one that you do not want to miss. The Seminar will be held on January 29, 2019, at the DoubleTree, 222 Potomac Boulevard, Mt. Vernon, IL.     The event starts at 8:00 am and runs to 3:00 pm. CEUs CCAs will be available.
