   Uneven markets today. Cold conditions hampered movement of livestock everywhere this week. Not enough to do a test so we are just calling it steady.

   Compared to last week, 600 lbs steers and heifers sold $2.00-5.00 higher,the rest of the offering sold steady to $10.00 lower. Slaughter cows sold $3.00 lower, bulls sold $1.00 lower. Cows made up approximately 13 percent of the run, 87 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 60 percent of the offering, 33 percent heifers with 8 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600lbs totaled around 42 percent.

   Due to the weather the offering was too small for a trend comparison. Slaughter cows and bulls were scarce. Cows made up approximately 5 percent of the run, 95 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 32 percent, 39 percent heifers with 29 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 3 percent.
