   Special breeding sale had good buyer attendance and was active on young cows. There were several older thin fleshed cows. Old Cows 1st and 2nd stage 970-1100 lbs $390-510; 1200-1500 lbs $650-800; SS 2cd & 3rd 1000-1250 lbs $650-900; 3-6 yr 2nd & 3rd stage $900-1400. 3-6 yr pairs with 100-250 lbs calves $1000-1475. Some bred back with 350 lb calves $1550-1675. Older pairs 1250-1500 lbs with small calves $900-1150. Regular marked was mixed. Heifers were steady to $1-13 higher. Steeers were up $1-4. 79 heifers avg 603 $135.50; 70 heifers avg 707 $126.75.

Cows made up approximately 13 percent of the run, 87 percent feeders. Steers made up approximately 33 percent of the offering, 43 percent heifers with 24 percent feeder bulls. Offerings over 600 lbs totaled around 16 percent.
