   Compared to the last special two weeks ago, feeder steers weighing 500-600 lbs sold steady to firm, with 600-700 lbs selling $5.00-7.00 lower and feeders over 700 lbs trading with a lower undertone on a light test. Feeder heifers weighing 450-500 lbs sold steady to $3.00 lower with 500-750 lbs selling $5.00-10.00 lower, spots $12.00 lower on the 6 weight heifers. Slaughter cows sold fully steady. Demand and supply was moderate. Overall feeder quality was not as attractive as the last special with weighing conditions not as attractive and more feeders carrying flesh and unweaned. The feeder cattle market has also been on a decline with cattle futures and fed cattle market trading lower. Supply included near 18 percent slaughter cows with feeder supply consisting of 51 percent steers, 45 percent heifers and 46 percent weighing over 600 lbs.
