Slaughter cows sold $1.00 higher and bulls sold steady; Demand uneven and supply very light. Supply included: 86 percent Feeder Cattle (44 percent Steers, 43 percent Heifers, 14 percent Bulls); 8 percent Slaughter Cattle (85 percent Cows, 15 percent Bulls); 6 percent Replacement Cattle (94 percent Bred Cows, 6 percent Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 25 percent.
