Farmington Regional Stockyards

Although most cattle were preconditioned, quality was spread across the board this week. Demand was still best for large framed, calf weight, yearling type cattle that are becoming scarce. Those cattle were slightly higher while lighter calves were steady overall. Winter storms in the west slowed demand down some as cattle were not able to be easily shipped comparative to prior weeks.
