**GRASS CATTLE FROM 300LBS-625LBS IN HIGH DEMAND**

Although the futures market showed limit down yesterday on cattle contracts with the release of the Prospective Plantings Report, our market was extremely active with grass cattle peaking at $212/cwt which are price levels we have not seen in at least a year’s time. Local farmers are eager to fill their pastures as well as larger northern outfits, which is a trend we expect to continue seeing in the weeks to come.
For questions about the market, trucking, or how we can get you the most out of your cattle contact Clay Birk at 573-275-1387 or Terry Birk at 573-270-9817.
