   Compared to last week, a very light offering of feeder cattle, mostly unweaned/short weaned calves sold with moderate demand with no comparisons for a market test. Slaughter cows traded mostly steady to spots $2.00 lower on the high dressing cows. May corn continues to advance gaining near 33 cents this week closing at $7.72, while July corn advanced 59 cents for the week closing at $7.32. Fed cattle trade was mostly $118.00-119.00 for the week. Supply included: 63 percent Feeder Cattle (35 percent Steers, 46 percent Heifers, 19 percent Bulls); 37 percent Slaughter Cattle (15 percent Steers, 5 percent Heifers, 70 percent Cows, 11 percent Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 36 percent.
