   Compared to last week, a very light offering this week of feeders sold mostly in small packages and singles with very few comparisons. 

Slaughter cows and slaughter steers and heifers sold steady to firm.  Supply was light with demand moderate on the feeders. Supply included: 67 percent Feeder Cattle (33 percent Steers, 7 percent Dairy Steers, 58 percent Heifers, 2 percent Bulls); 33 percent Slaughter Cattle (28 percent Steers, 61 percent Cows, 12 percent Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 43 percent.

   Compared to last week, steers sold $6.00-12.00 higher, heifers sold uneven, from $5.00 lower to $5.00 higher with good quality in the auction in the prevac- offering. Slaughter cows sold $1.00 lower, bulls sold $3.00 lower; Demand uneven and supply moderate to heavy. 

   Supply included: 95 percent Feeder Cattle (56 percent Steers, 42 percent Heifers, 2 percent Bulls); 4 percent Slaughter Cattle (83 percent Cows, 17 percent Bulls); 1 percent Replacement Cattle (57 percent Bred Cows, 24 percent Bred Heifers, 19 percent Cow-Calf Pairs). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 38 percent.
