Compared to the last special two weeks ago, feeder steers weighing 650-750 lbs sold firm to $2.00 higher, all other steer calves were lightly tested. Feeder heifers had the best test on 600-750 lbs selling $2.00-5.00 higher with the most advance on the 7 weights. Slaughter cows sold steady. Demand was good on a light to moderate offering, with a good quality offering of 650-750 lb steers and 600-750 lb heifers all selling on and active market. Supply included: 85% Feeder Cattle (50% Steers, 47% Heifers, 3% Bulls); 15% Slaughter Cattle (32% Steers, 10% Heifers, 45% Cows, 13% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 78%.
