RiceTec 2022 Seed Sale Opens In October

ALVIN, TEXAS

RiceTec’s breadth of products, deemed to fit any acre in the rice industry, go on sale to growers and distributors this week. Known for its vigorous testing in a variety of locations and using a multitude of growing methods, RiceTec will offer ten products for the 2022 growing season.

“This year’s offerings range from different Herbicide Tolerance options, conventional hybrids, and the introduction of new seed treatments,” said Van McNeely, Director of Sales and Tech Services.

“We’re excited to have products to fit every grower’s needs this year.”

2022 offerings include popular high-yielding, long-grain seeds such as XP753 and RT7301 as well as limited quantities of RT7401, seed with evidence of firm standability, low chalk, and a fit for row rice.

FullPage® products are available in adequate supply and offer superior yield advantage along with an excellent disease package, improved grain retention, and excellent ratoon potential*.

Limited availability of two Max-Ace® products and experimental lines are being tested: A non-pubescent product and a long-grain offering that is predicted to take yield to a new level and increase milling quality.

Some of this year’s products also include Squad™, a seed treatment encasement said to be helpful to growers in the areas of planting flowability and providing protection against fungi and pests.

In addition to its quality seed offerings, RiceTec offers a range of different grower programs to add additional value to each RiceTec acre on the farm. Fall purchases are encouraged to ensure availability.

Furthermore, RiceTec offers a seed return policy, a 100 percent stand guarantee policy, and replant policy, all to achieve maximum customer satisfaction**.

“RiceTec is committed to providing quality, innovative products to our growers globally,” added McNeely. “This year’s product line- up fits this mission and we’re excited to begin sales right away.”
